Workplace & Matching Gifts
Companies often partner with Hawaii Opera Theatre by offering a matching gift or workplace giving program. Ask your employer’s human resources department if they support Hawaii Opera Theatre.
The impact of your gift to Hawaii Opera Theatre may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
How Do I Apply for a Matching Gift?
- Obtain a matching gift form and program guidelines from your human resources office.
- Complete the “Employee” section of the form and mail it to Hawaii Opera Theatre, along with your donation:

- We will complete the form and forward it to your employer’s matching gifts office for processing. The company will send its matching donation directly to Hawaii Opera Theatre.
Some companies disburse matching gifts on a quarterly or annual schedule. Hawaii Opera Theatre will not forward a notice to employees when matching contributions are received. If you ever have a question about your company’s matching donation, contact your human resources department.
